Evangelos Siokas is Associate Professor in the cognitive area of Economic Theory with emphasis on Entrepreneurship at the Department of Business and Organizations of the University of Peloponnese.

He holds a PhD in Engineering from the NTUA in the cognitive area of economic and strategic analysis of technology and innovation with the topic “Research/innovation networks and knowledge-based entrepreneurship”.

He has a mixed professional profile in the fields of Engineering and Economics of Technology with 20 years of professional experience in the design, coordination and implementation of numerous national and international projects in the areas of Innovative Technologies, Entrepreneurship, Environment, ICT and Local and Regional Development. From 2024, he holds the position of Deputy Scientific Director of the Office of Technology Transfer of the University of Peloponnese. He has served as a scientific associate of the Technology Transfer Office of NTUA, coordinator of the Research and Entrepreneurship Interface Structure EPI.noo – NTUA that functioned as an incubator for new business ventures and project manager of the specialized Invent ICT program that aims to support innovative entrepreneurship in the IT and communications sectors.

His research activity in the context of funded European and National Programmes focuses mainly on the economics of innovation and technology with special emphasis on knowledge-intensive entrepreneurship, business strategy, but also on innovation and technology management issues and related public policies. In addition, she has gained extensive experience in large-scale field research including questionnaire design and data analysis using advanced statistical and econometric methods.
