The 17th Ermoupolis Seminar on the Information Society & the Economy of Knowledge

The INFOSTRAG team of the Laboratory Industrial and Energy Economics  of NTUA and the Cyclades Chamber are organizing the 17th annual Hermoupolis Seminar on the Information Society & the Knowledge Economy during 8-10 July 2022. The Seminar is organized in collaboration with the KAS Foundation Greece – Cyprus, the Open Technologies Organization – EEL/LAK and Break-Even Consulting.

The Seminar on the Information Society & Knowledge Economy has been held for three days every July since 2006 within the framework of the Ermoupolis Annual Seminars organized by the Historical Research Institute of the National Research Foundation (IIE/EIE) since 1984.

The thematics of this year’s seminar are the following:

  • Research and innovation policies to enhance competitiveness and address contemporary social challenges
  • Innovative Knowledge-intensive Entrepreneurship
  • Digital policy and digital transformation of the economy and society
  • The Development Perspective of Syros

The Seminar will take place in the Events Hall of the Cyclades Chamber but some of the presentations will be done remotely. There will be the possibility of interactive participation through the Webex platform and at the same time the Seminar will be broadcast live through the LIEE-NTUA YouTube channel.
