Participation of A. Tsakanikas in the 2nd Workshop on Market Access for non-Market Access
A. Tsakanikas participated in the 2nd Market Access for non-Market Access Workshop, organized by the Hellenic Society of Market Accesson May 16th, delivering a speech on the “Use and Utilization of European Health Data.”
The educational workshop was aimed at executives of the pharmaceutical industry and state/regulatory bodies for pharmaceuticals, members of the academic community, representatives of patient associations, and generally those interested in gaining a comprehensive understanding of the processes involved in patient access to treatment and the revised legislative framework that governs the circulation of existing and future therapies.
The purpose of the 2nd Workshop was to educate participants on:
- Developments in the key pillars of drug access, such as pricing, reimbursement, prescription, and funding
- Medical devices, OTC medications, and current access models to treatments, such as the electronic medicine pre-authorisation system and IFET
- Access to electronic health data and innovation
- Challenges and skills of professionals working in the field of access to health technologies.
