Invent ICT Incubator Seminar “Product-Market Fit” – April 15, 2021

  16/04/2021

The online scenario “Product-Market Fit”, organized by the Invent ICT incubator for the 3rd cycle teams, was successfully completed on Thursday 15/4. The keynote speaker, Mr. Isidoros Sideridis, CEO of Pobuca and mentor of the program, gave useful advice from his experience, on creating a business, the strategy of adapting products to foreign markets, as well as on the tools and ways in which start-ups can approach the market and their potential customers.

According to Mr. Sideridis:

“Our biggest enemy when we design a new product is the prejudices that stem from our enthusiasm for it. Just as every mother sees her child as perfect, we too can get carried away and arbitrarily consider that our idea, our brainchild, is what the market needs. We need to distance ourselves and rely on data, not just our gut.”

The seminar was coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Angelos Tsakanikas, member of the Scientific Committee of Invent ICT, and Eleni Mitsea, Assistant Project Manager of Invent ICT.
