Your stay in Greece may require a VISA along with your passport depending on the country you are travelling from. The table below provides the list of countries for which VISA is required for traveling to Greece. The countries not[1] included in the table are VISA-FREE.

A VISA is usually issued by the Greek embassy or Greek consulate in your country. In case there is no Greek diplomatic representation in your country, please contact the relevant foreign Authorities that issue visas for Greece. You may find a table of EU member states representing Greece where there is no Greek diplomatic representation here.

Procedures for issuing a VISA can be found on the website of the Greek embassy or consulate in your country. In all cases, relevant documentation should be accompanied by the conference invitation letter. For Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Fyrom visa exemption should only apply to holders of biometric passports. In addition, for Serbia the visa requirement exemption is not applied to holders of Serbian passports issued by the Serbian coordination directorate (in Serbian: koordinaciona uprava).
