Spyros Kyrimis is an external associate of the Laboratory of Industrial and Energy Economics (LIEE) of the School of Chemical Engineering of NTUA and is actively involved in the laboratory providing support to the team in research projects and in the laboratory teaching of the undergraduate courses taught by the LIEE-NTUA team.
At the same time he was working at BREAK EVEN CONSULTING, in the Department of Environmental and Energy Strategy, where his main focus was on circular economy, waste management, green energy and wastewater treatment.
He has experience from industry, and more specifically has worked as a process engineer trainee at the oil refinery of MOTOR OIL and at a combined cycle steam power plant of PPC.
He graduated from the School of Chemical Engineering of NTUA. He completed his Diploma Thesis entitled “Development of a Decision-Making System for Epidemiological Risk Management based on Systems Control Techniques” under the supervision of Mr. H. Sarimveis.
He has provided volunteer support to the Mega Green Innovation competition.
Throughout his undergraduate studies at the School, he volunteered to support the laboratory teaching of Undergraduate Courses of the LIEE-NTUA group and beyond, culminating in a presentation he prepared for his fellow students entitled “Energy Systems Applications”, based on his experiences at the PPC plant and beyond.
He has a particular interest in innovative industrial technologies, waste management and green energy issues, as well as techno-economic issues and data analysis.
