Organization of an online event within the framework of Women Entrepreneurship Week 2023 for the 5th consecutive year by the LIEE-NTUA and Asst. Professor Emilia Protogerou

The Industrial and Energy Economics Laboratory (LIEE) of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) organized the online event “Nurturing female-led innovation and entrepreneurship”, which took place within the framework of the Women Entrepreneurship Week initiative (https://www.montclair.edu/entrepreneur/), on October 19, 2023 from 17:30 to 19:30.

This global initiative was launched by the Universities of New Jersey in the USA, which deal with Entrepreneurship, and this year it is being held for the 10th year with the participation of more than 140 universities around the world (among them are Babson, University of Michigan, UNC, Princeton, Cornell, University of Iowa, SetonHall, Georgetown, etc.)

From Greece, for the fifth consecutive year, the NTUA and the Laboratory of Industrial and Energy Economics of the School of Chemical Engineering participated. The aim of this year’s event was to highlight important aspects of female entrepreneurship in our country, focusing on the role of Technology Transfer Offices in strengthening this entrepreneurship but also in highlighting innovative knowledge-intensive female ventures from different sectors of economic activity.

The workshop was coordinated by Emilia Protogerou, Assistant Professor of the Industrial and Energy Economics Laboratory of the School of Chemical Engineering, NTUA.
