13th Ermoupolis Seminar on the Information Society 2018 by the INFOSTRAG team of the LIEE/NTUA, 13-15 July 2018
The 13th Seminar on the Information Society & the Knowledge Economy was successfully completed by the INFOSTRAG team of the Industrial and Energy Economics Laboratory of the National Technical University of Greece, organized within the framework of the annual seminars organized by the Institute of Historical Research of the National Research Foundation (IHR/NHRF) in Ermoupolis, Syros.
The Seminar took place from the morning of Friday, July 13 to the morning of Sunday, July 15, at the Conference Hall of the Cyclades Chamber.
The Seminar was entitled “Critical Factors and Driving Forces towards Smart Growth” and the thematic sections discussed are:
- Friday 13 July, 10:00 – 13:30: Smart Cities and the Role of Local Government: Theoretical Framework and Greek Examples
- Friday 13 July, 18:00 – 21:30: Redefining Education towards Innovation in the Era of the 4th Industrial Revolution
- Saturday 14 July, 10:00 – 13:30: Innovative Entrepreneurship: The Role of Education, Coaching and Partnerships between Academia and Industry (to be held in English)
- Saturday 14 July, 18:00 – 21:30: The New Environment of Digital Infrastructures and Networks: Trends and Challenges
- Sunday, July 15, 10:30 – 12:30: Seminar Conclusions – General Discussion
