“Corporate social responsibility as a tool for innovation” – Article by Assoc. Prof. A. Tsakanikas and Efis Korra in the Economic Review
“In recent years, most large, but also small and medium-sized enterprises and usually multinationals have adopted a structured strategy for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and related actions. It is reasonable to think that Corporate Social Responsibility is a distinct activity for businesses – and indeed an activity in which significant resources (human capital, financial) are invested that only large businesses have the opportunity, and perhaps even in today’s circumstances, the luxury, to adopt.
But is Corporate Social Responsibility really an option and until when? Is this activity or will it be integrated into responsible business activity that operates in a manner that respects the environment and society in the near future?”
