Ermoupolis Seminar 2023: The importance of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and sustainable development for island regions and maritime transport

The INFOSTRAG Team of the Laboratory of Industrial and Energy Economics (LIEE) of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and the Cyclades Chamber of Commerce organized the 18th annual Ermoupolis Seminar on the Information Society & Knowledge Economy, held from July 14 to 16, 2023. The Seminar was co-organized in collaboration with KAS Greece – Cyprus, the NTUA Technology Transfer Office, the Open Technologies Organization – EELLAK/ELLAK, and the consulting firm Break Even Consulting. The Seminar on the Information Society & Knowledge Economy has been held every July over three days since 2006, within the framework of the Annual Ermoupolis Seminars, an institution established in 1984 by the Institute of Historical Research of the National Hellenic Research Foundation (EIE).

The Seminar took place in the Events Hall of the Cyclades Chamber of Commerce, while some of the presentations were also delivered remotely via the Webex platform. The Seminar was also broadcast live on the LIEE/NTUA YouTube channel.
