The aim of the project is to map the Greek start-up ecosystem and the conditions necessary to support high quality early-stage entrepreneurship. It will explore the determinants that can lead to the enhancement of entrepreneurship with quality characteristics and therefore stronger potential for success, as well as the factors affecting export orientation, innovation, knowledge integration, etc. for start-ups in Greece, in order to identify the key characteristics that need to be supported and enhanced in order to improve the potential for success.
The project focuses on the empirical and theoretical investigation of the impact of certain critical factors on innovative new entrepreneurship, using data from various sources. Another critical objective of the project is to provide policy recommendations and a set of appropriate guidelines to support high potential entrepreneurship. It will study recent policies to support entrepreneurship in Greece and identify performance indicators that could serve as early warning indicators for early-stage high potential entrepreneurship.
