The National Documentation Centre (EKT) is organizing at the amphitheater of the National Research Foundation (October 16-18, 2013) a three-day International Conference titled “Open Access @ EKT – Developing Common European Policies for the Innovative Use of Public and Scientific Information,” the third in a series of international conferences focused on Open Access to scientific knowledge.

At the conference, Professor Giannis Kalogirou (EBEO/NTUA) will participate on Wednesday morning as the keynote speaker (“Optimizing the Use of Knowledge in Shaping Public Policies and Developing Business Activity: The Strategic Importance of Open Access and Open Data”) and also as the coordinator of the thematic session “Open Education and Open Research” (Wednesday afternoon).
