The French Institute of Greece, in collaboration with the Industrial and Energy Economics Laboratory of the National Technical University of Athens, organized a conference entitled “Smart Cities: From Design to Action” on Friday, November 10, 2017, at the Technopolis Amphitheater of the Municipality of Athens.

The aim of the conference was to compare the views of economic, political and academic actors, as well as civil society, on the current and future challenges of smart cities.

The conference was held within the framework of the 2nd Franco-Hellenic Innovation Forum of the MAZINNOV Network

Professor of NTUA and Director of the Industrial and Energy Economics Laboratory, Yiannis Kalogirou, participated in the thematic sections “How is a smart city defined?” and “Smart partnerships for smart cities”, as well as in the closing of the conference.
