Professor A. Tsakanikas and LIEE-NTUA’s post-doctoral research fellow P. Dimas co-authored a policy brief titled “Leveraging EU industrial policy to reshape Greece’s productive model” on behalf of the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) and its Greek and European Economy Observatory.
The policy brief aims to explore and evaluate recent developments in industrial policy in the European Union, focusing on the ways in which they can be leveraged to the benefit of Greece’s productive transformation. In this context, it also presents and analyses some key points of the rather fragmented landscape of policies and strategies related to Greek industry, and maps out some future directions that are deemed necessary for the country to be able to exploit the momentum of European industrial policy to its advantage.
