Διαδικτυακή Εκδήλωση “From research to market: promoting high technology women entrepreneurship” του ΕΒΕΟ-ΕΜΠ

Το Εργαστήριο Βιομηχανικής και Ενεργειακής Οικονομίας (ΕΒΕΟ) του Εθνικού Μετσόβιου Πολυτεχνείου (ΕΜΠ) έχει τη χαρά να σας προσκαλέσει στη διαδικτυακή εκδήλωση “From research to market: promoting high technology women entrepreneurship“, η οποία διοργανώνεται στο πλαίσιο της πρωτοβουλίας Weekly Women Entrepreneurship (https://www.montclair.edu/entrepreneur/womens-entrepreneurship-week/), στις 25 Οκτωβρίου 2021 και ώρα 17:00 με 19:00.

Αυτή η παγκόσμιας εμβέλειας πρωτοβουλία ξεκίνησε από τα Πανεπιστήμια του New Jersey στις ΗΠΑ που ασχολούνται με την Επιχειρηματικότητα. Φέτος διεξάγεται για 8η χρονιά με τη συμμετοχή περισσότερων από 140 πανεπιστημίων ανά τον κόσμο (ανάμεσα σε αυτά είναι το Babson, University of Michigan, UNC, Princeton, Cornell, University of Iowa, SetonHall, Georgetown κ.ά.)

Από την Ελλάδα, για τρίτη συνεχή χρονιά, συμμετέχει το ΕΜΠ και το Εργαστήριο Βιομηχανικής και Ενεργειακής Οικονομίας της Σχολής Χημικών Μηχανικών σε συνεργασία με τη θερμοκοιτίδα ΕΠΙ.νοώ του ΕΜΠ. Στόχος της εκδήλωσης είναι να προβάλλει σημαντικές πτυχές της γυναικείας επιχειρηματικότητας στη χώρα μας. Στην εκδήλωσή μας θα φιλοξενήσουμε τόσο γυναίκες από τον ακαδημαϊκό χώρο με ισχυρή ερευνητική παρουσία που ταυτόχρονα ενδιαφέρονται να αξιοποιηθούν τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνάς τους, αλλά και γυναίκες με ισχυρό ερευνητικό προφίλ που προσπαθούν να μετατρέψουν την έρευνά τους σε συγκεκριμένα προϊόντα και υπηρεσίες έντασης γνώσης και τεχνολογίας. Επιπλέον, θα επιχειρήσουμε να αναδείξουμε την ανάγκη ενδυνάμωσης της γυναικείας επιχειρηματικότητας μέσω του θεσμού του εξατομικευμένου coaching.

LIEE NTUA participation in the DRUID21 Conference at CBS

The Laboratory of Industrial and Energy Economics (LIEE NTUA) participated in the DRUID 2021 Conference, held at CBS in Copenhagen from 18 to 20 October 2021.

DRUID (Danish Research Unit for Industrial Dynamics) was established in 1995 by CBS, AAU and SDU, with the aim of promoting the promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship research in Denmark. Today, the DRUID Annual Conference is one of Europe’s largest management conferences and competes only with the US Academy of Management, attracting top innovation and entrepreneurship researchers from around the world. The 2021 conference was conducted with full in-person participation, with main research interests focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship.

LIEE’s participants were Aggelos Tsakanikas, Asc. Professor at NTUA and Director of LIEE, Aimilia Protogerou, senior researcher at LIEE NTUA, and PhD Candidates Petros Dimas and Dimitrios Stamopoulos. More specifically, the presented papers were (link in the title):

Συμμετοχή του Υπ. Διδάκτορα Γεωργίου Σιώκα στο 4th SmartBlueCity Euro-Mediterranean Conference-Exhibition

PhD Candidate George Siokas participated in the international scientific conference “4th SmartBlueCity Euro-Mediterranean Conference-Exhibition” which took part in hybrid form,  at the Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens, Greece. At the conference, the title of his presentation was “The Economic Impact of the Smart City on the Greek National Economy based on Input-Output Analysis”. The co-authors of the presentation are Dimitris Stamopoulos, Petros Dimas and the Associate Professor NTUA Angelos Tsakanikas. The presentation took place on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at 10:00, in Thematic Unit 7 entitled “Tools and Technologies for Informed Decision-Making”.

Ο Υπ. Διδάκτορας Γεώργιος Σιώκας συμμετείχε στο διεθνές επιστημονικό συνέδριο “4th SmartBlueCity Euro-Mediterranean Conference-Exhibition” που έλαβε μέρος με διττή μορφή, μέσω διαδικτύου και με φυσική παρουσία στο Divani Caravel Hotel​ στην Αθήνα, Ελλάδα.

Στο συνέδριο, ο τίτλος της παρουσίασης του είναι “The Economic Impact of the Smart City on the Greek National Economy based on Input-Output Analysis“. Οι συν-συγγραφείς (co-authors) της παρουσίασης είναι ο Δημήτρης Σταμόπουλος, Πέτρος Δήμας και ο Αν. Καθηγητής ΕΜΠ Άγγελος Τσακανίκας.

Η παρουσίαση έλαβε χώρα το Σάββατο 10 Οκτωβρίου 2020, στις 10:00, στη Θεματική Ενότητα 7 με τίτλο “Tools and Technologies for Informed Decision-Making”.
