Ο Καθηγητής ΕΜΠ Γ. Καλογήρου και ο Επίκουρος Καθηγητής ΕΜΠ και αντιπρόεδρος του Οργανισμού Βιομηχανικής Ιδιοκτησίας Α. Τσακανίκας συμμετείχαν ως ομιλητές στο Exploiting IP at universities: European progress conference 2018, το οποίο και διοργανώθηκε 18-19 Οκτωβρίου  από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ακαδημία Πατέντας, τον Οργανισμό Βιομηχανικής Ιδιοκτησίας και το Εθνικό Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών στην Αθήνα.

The conference offers practices exchange on how to exploit IP at universities in Europe. It will concentrate on how to raise IP awareness, promote IP education and foster technology transfer. Topics will range from IP policies to engaging TTOs in raising awareness activities and better exploiting research results as well as open science and patents, building new indicators for IP performance and on how to raise funds for innovations. To this end, we would like to invite University, TTO and Ministry representatives as well as European academic networks active in the field to discuss the best way forward. This edition of the two-day conference will be organised by the European Patent Academy of the European Patent Office in co-operation with the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation.

Objectives

After the conference you will have an overview of best practices in IP awareness, IP education and IP exploitation within the academic world in the 38 EPC contracting states. You will learn about existing networks and experts in the field as well as new tools, products and programmes to better exploit IP in universities in Europe.

Prerequisites

You will have to be nominated by a national patent office (NPO). In case of interest please contact the respective NPO of your country. If you experience difficulties in reaching out to the NPOs, please contact the EPO.

Ο Υποψήφιος Διδάκτορας του ΕΒΕΟ ΕΜΠ Νικόλαος Θ. Αθανασούλης θα συμμετάσχει στο Sustainable Industrial Processing Summit & Exhibition (SIPS) 2018 που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο Ρίο ντε Τζανέιρο, από τις 4-7 Νοεμβρίου 2018. Μεταξύ άλλων, θα τοποθετηθεί πάνω σε ζητήματα Ευφυών Πόλεων και διαχείρισης Ηλεκτρικής Ενέργειας και η παρουσίαση του έχει τίτλο: “Smart Cities Under Electric Energy Trends: From Autonomous Building Directive to Prosumer Target”.

The  2018 Sustainable Industrial Processing Summit and Exhibition follows the rich tradition of previous years, covering 3 sustainability pillars: (1) Science, Technology & Industry, (2) Governance & Management and (3) Education & Civil Society.

LIEE/NTUA successfully participated in the 30th Annual Conference of EAEPE (European Association for Evolutionary Political Economy) that was held in Nice, France, from 06 to 08 of September 2018 at ISEM  Institute (School of Economics and Business), at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis. The general theme of this year’s EAEPE Conference was: “Evolutionary foundations at a crossroad: Assessments, outcomes and implications for policy makers“.

Με επιτυχία ολοκληρώθηκε το   13ο Σεμινάριο για την Κοινωνία της Πληροφορίας & την Οικονομία της Γνώσης από την ομάδα INFOSTRAG του Εργαστηρίου Βιομηχανικής και Ενεργειακής Οικονομίας του ΕΜΠ που διοργανώθηκε στο πλαίσιο των ετήσιων σεμιναρίων που διοργανώνει το Ινστιτούτο Ιστορικών Ερευνών του Εθνικού Ιδρύματος Ερευνών (ΙIΕ/ΕΙΕ) στην Ερμούπολη της Σύρου.

Το Σεμινάριο έλαβε χώρα από το πρωί της Παρασκευής 13 Ιουλίου έως το πρωί της Κυριακής 15 Ιουλίου στη Συνεδριακή Αίθουσα του Επιμελητηρίου Κυκλάδων.

Στο πλαίσιο της συνεργασίας της Ένωσης Μαστιχοπαραγωγών Χίου (ΕΜΧ) με το Εργαστήριο Βιομηχανικής και Ενεργειακής Οικονομίας (ΕΒΕΟ/ΕΜΠ) και συνεργαζόμενων με αυτό Καθηγητών και ερευνητών από το ΕΜΠ, με αντικείμενο τον σχεδιασμό και την υλοποίηση παρεμβάσεων για τη βελτίωση της αλυσίδας αξίας της παραγωγής, επεξεργασίας και διάθεσης προϊόντων μαστίχας, ο Καθηγητής Γιάννης Καλογήρου, ο Επίκ. Καθηγητής Άγγελος Τσακανίκας, η Καθηγήτρια Γλυκερία Κακάλη και ο Μεταδιδακτορικός Ερευνητής Παναγιώτης Παναγιωτόπουλος, πραγματοποίησαν οργανωμένη επίσκεψη στις εγκαταστάσεις της ΕΜΧ αλλά και της θυγατρικής της εταιρείας Mediterra ΑΕ, στις 20 και 21 Ιουνίου 2018.

Η ατζέντα της επίσκεψης περιελάμβανε τα ακόλουθα:
